Janna has a Bachelor of Science in Nutrition & Culinary Arts from Bastyr University. She uses her education and experience in the kitchen to specialize in foods designed to build immunity, lower blood sugar, reduce inflammation & increase fertility.
Personal chef & catering services are done in the Salted Root Sister's commercial kitchen in North Seattle. Salted Root Sisters is a Female Chef Collaborative including Mother's Roots & The Salted Fig.
Customizable cooking classes on subjects ranging from basic cooking lessons, managing a new food allergy, eating nutritiously on a budget, to seasonal and gluten-free cooking. Chef Janna is a walking encyclopedia on specialized nutrition and kitchen techniques.
